Our EdTech Journey

At Kranji Primary School, we believe that technology is a powerful enabler of meaningful learning. Kranjians are provided with learning devices to support them both in and out of the classroom, giving them easy access to resources and opportunities that help them develop future-ready competencies.

By redesigning how teachers teach and how students learn with technology, we strive to create a positive and impactful teaching and learning environment which encourages our students to:

· take ownership of their learning

· participate in collaborative learning and

· extend their learning beyond the classroom.

Through carefully designed tools and resources, students acquire and hone their collaborative, critical thinking and communication skills.As they grow in independence through self-directed learning, they also develop digital literacies and the etiquette of responsible device use - building the knowledge, skills, practices and attitudes necessary to thrive as future-ready learners.

Learning Experience

With the use of e-Pedagogy, active learning takes place. This creates classrooms that allows Kranjians to participate, connect and reflect on their learning.

Learning activities are thoughtfully crafted with our Kranjians’ learning experience and the learning outcomes in mind. Students make sense of information to achieve deep understanding and develop essential skill. By tapping on the affordances of technology, learning is transformed and our students become more participative, reflective and connected.

With EdTech, the learning of our Kranjians is no longer constrained by physical space. Learning can now take place anywhere, anytime. This empowers teachers to blend learning seamlessly across both face-to-face and online spaces, synchronously and asynchronously, ensuring that every Kranjian continues to grow as a confident and capable learner.
